ICE FOR ACNE??? REALLY???
YES! Absolutely, Ice is great for your skin and can be beneficial for all skin types, especially those who have Acne!
I advise all of my clients to ice twice daily (once in the morning, once at night) after washing. Icing is a great natural exfoliant, great for preserving the skin and reduces redness and inflammation. It also helps your products and medication penetrate better into the skin, which will give you faster & better results.
After washing your face, take a clean ice cube from your ice tray (or click on this link to purchase one of our special ice cups) and glide it over your face for approximately 20 seconds. Keep the ice moving at all times as it can burn like heat if held in the same spot for long enough. When finished, dispose of the ice cube and pat dry with a clean towel. For extra sensitive skin, you can add some natural Aloe Vera Gel with the water, before freezing which will help soothe irritated skin.
